The Open Data Charter offices will be closed from Dec 24 — Jan 2, 2023.
Dear Network,
2022 was a year of growth for the Open Data Charter. We expanded our team and received funding to work in new focus areas, like in Artificial Intelligence.
We also welcomed new government adopters: 4 sub-national adopters: the Municipality of Cuenca, Municipality of Valencia, Baja California States, Provincial Council of Biscay, and 2 national adopters: Slovenia and Peru. Institutional endorsers also joined our Network: Open Technologies Alliance (GFOSS), International Foundation for Electoral Systems, OpenAQ, Population and Development Initiative, and The Demography Project are now part.
We want to thank our funders, colleagues, friends and overall to the whole open data Charter Community for your amazing support. We are so grateful for your collaboration and participation this year and look forward to opportunities to work together towards a more open future.

2022 fue un año de crecimiento para la Carta Internacional de Datos Abiertos. Ampliamos nuestro equipo y recibimos apoyo y financiamiento para trabajar en nuevas agendas temáticas, como Inteligencia Artificial.
Además le dimos la bienvenida a nuevos adoptantes. Incorporamos a cuatro gobiernos subnacionales: la Municipalidad de Cuenca, el Ayuntamiento de Valencia, el Estado de Baja California, la Diputación de Bizkaia, y dos gobiernos nacionales: Eslovenia y Perú. También se unieron a nuestra red importantes organizaciones como: Open Technologies Alliance (GFOSS), International Foundation for Electoral Systems, OpenAQ, Population and Development Initiative, y The Demography Project.
Queremos dar las gracias a nuestros financiadores, colegas, amigos y, en general, a toda la comunidad de la Carta Internacional de Datos Abiertos por su apoyo fundamental. Estamos muy agradecidos por la colaboración que recibimos este año y esperamos tener oportunidades para trabajar juntos hacia un futuro más abierto.
